Bus Cancellation – April 18 – Sioux Lookout & Hudson (6:25am)

Update: Due to current weather/road conditions and forecasted freezing rain, all buses for Dryden, Vermilion Bay, Ear Falls, Red Lake & Sioux Lookout (this includes Hutchison Bus Lines & Iron Range Bus Lines) have been cancelled for April 18th. Schools remain open and all other areas are running (as of 6:25 am).

April 16 – School buses have been cancelled for Upsala & Igance due to current road and weather conditions. This includes both Wray Bussing routes in Upsala and Iron Range Bus Lines #14 in Ignace. The schools remain open and all other areas are running as scheduled. (5:40 am)

Fog Procedure Reminder – School Bus Pick-Up

Good Morning Everyone,

With the amount of fog in the service areas, please be reminded of our procedure. Essentially if the visibility is limited and the driver doesn’t feel he/she can stop safely, the bus will not stop. This is for the safety of your child, those other students already on the bus as well as the driver. Hopefully the fog will have cleared by tomorrow morning.

Freezing Rain Warning for Certain Areas

Please be aware that there is a ‘Freezing Rain Warning’ for the Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Ignace and Upsala areas. Conditions will be assessed in the morning. (The warning areas do NOT include Kenora and Red Lake/Ear Falls.) Please check our website in the morning. We attempt to post any cancellations by 6:30 a.m. if possible. Thank you.
