Students who currently ride the bus will be automatically registered for next year unless their eligibility changes (distance eligibility criteria change when students enter Grades 1, 4, or 9). Parents/guardians will be notified by email in July if their child is no longer eligible for bussing. Returning Grade 12 students must also contact us to re-enroll for bussing.
No action is required if your bussing needs remain the same, though your bus number, stop, or times might change. Check the NWOSSC Parent Portal app after August 15th for updates. Contact us before August 15th for changes or new arrangements. Staff are available all summer to assist by email at bussing@nwobus.ca or call 807-223-1256 (or toll-free at 1-866-860-7770).
School Bus Drivers are needed in Kenora, Sioux Narrows, Red Lake, Ear Falls, Sioux Lookout, and Dryden for the 2025-26 school year. No experience is needed, but applicants must be 21+ years old with an Ontario G license. Reach out to us today for more information.
