New bus riders – join us for a fun and informative First Rider session before the start of the 2023-2024 school year!

The Northwestern Ontario Student Services Consortium, in conjunction with our member school boards, and local school bus operators, provides a First Rider program for all new JK/SK bus riders. The First Rider program is designed for parents and children new to school bus transportation. First Rider sessions are approximately one hour long and include a bus ride, as well as important information for students and families.

Please see below for details about First Rider in your community. To register, email the Consortium at or call 807-223-1256 / toll free 1-866-860-7770.
