Fog and Reduced Visibility
If a bus cannot safely stop to make a pick-up/drop off due to reduced visibility, the driver has the discretion not to make the stop for the safety of students at the stop, students already on the bus, and other motorists.
When stops can’t be made, the Consortium will attempt to contact the parent/guardian. In some cases we may not be able to notify parents.
Please be reminded that parents are responsible for the safety and conduct of students to/from and at the bus stop, including having a back up plan in case the stop cannot be made.
