Bus Cancellation due to driver shortage:
Sioux Lookout bus SL99 will be cancelled from Monday, April 8 to Friday, April 12 due to driver shortage.
School Bus Drivers are needed in Kenora, Sioux Narrows, Red Lake, Ear Falls, Sioux Lookout and Dryden. Bus Operators offer all required training and competitive wages. No professional driving experience is necessary. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid Ontario G class license with a good driving record. Solar Eclipse Information:
Schools with a regular dismissal time of 2:35 pm (including Golden Learning Centre, Red Lake-Madsen Public School, and Ear Falls Public School) will be dismissed early at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 8th and buses will depart these schools by 12:15 p.m. to ensure that students arrive home before the start of the eclipse. Please refer to communication from your school for details.
Bussing for all other schools will run as usual after school dismissal on Monday afternoon. Please be advised there may be minor bus delays.
