Notice to Families: OSSTF one-day province-wide full withdrawal of services for Wednesday, December 4, 2019

Late last week, the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF) announced they will escalate job action that originally began across the province on November 26, 2019.  OSSTF has given notice that their members will participate in a one-day, province-wide full withdrawal of services on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 if a new agreement isn’t reached before then.

Should the announced withdrawal of services go ahead on Wednesday, December 4, this will be a full strike by OSSTF members and all Keewatin Patricia District School Board (KPDSB) schools (elementary, secondary and adult education sites) listed below will be CLOSED to students. Bus service to all other schools served by the Northwestern Ontario Student Services Consortium, including the Kenora Catholic District School Board, Northwest Catholic District School Board, and Conseil Scolaire de District Catholique Aurores boréales will run according to regular routes and schedules.
