Consortium staff are available throughout the summer to assist you with your bussing arrangements for next year. Please contact us as soon as possible to ensure that your arrangements are in place for the first day of school.
If your student rode the bus regularly before schools moved to remote learning in April, they will be automatically registered for bussing next year with the following exceptions:
- Students whose distance eligibility has changed (e.g. grade level or school change). Parents/guardians of students who are no longer eligible for bussing will be contacted by email;
- Returning Grade 12 students (all returning Grade 12’s must re-register for bussing).
If your transportation needs have changed or for new transportation requests, please go to www.nwobus.ca/transportation-request-form or call us at 1-866-860-7770 or 807-223-1256.
All parents/guardians are reminded to check your child’s transportation arrangements before the start of next school year, as your bus number or stop times may have changed. You can check your arrangements beginning in mid-August using our Parent Portal www.nwobus.ca/parent-portal. Families will be notified by email and text message alert when this information is available. If you haven’t already done so, you will need to sign up for the Parent Portal using your child’s Ontario Education Number (OEN) which can be found on their report card.
If your child rode the bus this year but you do not plan to ride the bus at the beginning of the school year, please let us know. You can do this by emailing us at bussing@nwobus.ca . If you opt out now you may register your child for bussing at a later date.
