The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board (KPDSB), Kenora Catholic District School Board (KCDSB), and the Northwest Catholic District School Board (TNCDSB) have advised of job action and school closures next week if provincial agreements are not reached with the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (ETFO) and Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA). Please check your board and school website for further details and updated notices.
- Tuesday, February 4 – All KCDSB and TNCDSB schools will be closed to students, and transportation will be cancelled as a result of OECTA job action (JK to Grade 12).
- Wednesday, February 5 – All KPDSB elementary schools (JK to Grade 8) will be closed to students and transportation will be cancelled as a result of ETFO job action.
- Thursday, February 6 – All KPDSB elementary schools (JK to Grade 8) will be closed to students and transportation will be cancelled as a result of ETFO job action.
When schools are closed to students, bus service to these schools will be CANCELLED for the day. Bus service to all other schools will operate as scheduled, and regular service will resume when schools reopen. Please visit www.nwobus.ca for further information and updates regarding bus service.
