School Bussing for 2022-2023

Your bus information for the start of the 2022-2023 school year is available through the NWOSSC Parent Portal. School bus numbers, stop locations and timing may change from year to year, so it is important that all families check their bus information through the Parent Portal before the first day of school.

To access the Parent Portal go to https://www.nwobus.ca/parent-portal/. If this is your first time using the portal, you will need to create an account and add your children to your account by entering the following information:

  • Your child’s Ontario Education Number (OEN) / Student ID – this 9 digit number that can be found on your report card;
  • School;
  • Grade; and
  • Birth Date.

Students who regularly rode the bus last school year and remain eligible are automatically registered, all others must register for bussing separately from your school registration. Unregistered students will not be allowed to board the bus on the first day of school. If you have not yet registered for bussing and need to do so, please complete a transportation request form available at www.nwobus.ca/transportation-request-form as soon as possible. Please contact us by email at bussing@nwobus.ca if you require assistance.

If you have contacted the Consortium by email or through our website and have not received a reply within two business days, please check your junk mail folder and call us at 807-223-1256 or toll-free at 1-866-860-7770.

Please visit our webpage to learn more about health and safety measures in place to ensure that students continue to arrive at school safely, on time, and ready to learn during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. https://www.nwobus.ca/return-to-school-transportation-covid-19/ This information includes how to prepare your child for the bus ride, and parents daily responsibility to assess their child’s health before sending them to the school bus.
